Seamless Form - Technical Felted Wool Slippers Workshop

This is a 2-day intensive and technical workshop focused on wool felting and functional slipper construction, led by Ramune, felt designer and founder of ONSTAIL with 17 years of professional experience. The workshop is process-led and focuses on material understanding, structural development, and precise shaping techniques.

Participants will work through the full development of felt slippers, beginning with an introduction to wool types and their structural properties, followed by pattern development, fibre layout, controlled wet felting, and shrinkage management. The process continues through shaping, fitting, and finishing, with emphasis on achieving a stable and functional final form.

Workshop details:
Duration: 2 days / 12 hours total.
Day 1: 7–8 hours (pattern development, wool layout, initial felting, shaping, full felting process).
Day 2: 4–5 hours (finishing, edging, sole latexing).
