ONSTAIL is a UK based, material led studio founded by Ramune Toleikyte. Working with wool since 2009, the practice is centred on forming seamless objects directly from raw fibre through a controlled felting process.

Technique is fundamental. Each piece is shaped without stitching or assembly, relying entirely on precision, timing and material understanding to achieve its final structure.
Trained in fashion design, Ramune’s work has evolved from garment construction to material-driven form. The result is a collection of soft yet stable objects where material, function and form are inseparable.
The collection includes home footwear and carries forms such as bags, developed with a focus on practicality, durability and long-term use. All pieces are made to order, allowing each object to be formed specifically for its owner. There is no standing stock, production remains immediate and material led.
Working with natural wool, a renewable and biodegradable material, the studio maintains a focused and responsible approach to production.
Small batch wholesale is available for independent design-led stores and galleries. Collections can be developed in response to store context, balancing visual identity with everyday function.
All pieces are designed and made in London, with a focus on clarity, durability and restraint.
